Athens

Luckily enough from the moment we arrived in Athens we have not had a single day that hasn’t been perfect weather. Here are the pictures to prove it.

We spent 10 Euros to see the famous Acropolis, on a peak in Athens. However we found, exploring the surrounding area that didnt cost a cent had the most amazing views of all.

Crete:

After a overnight ferry from Athens, Will and I made our way to our next destination — Crete 🙂

We came here thinking we would make a quick stop here on our way to Croatia, and didn’t think there would be much to do or see, we were however proved very wrong! 😛

We love it here ❤ The atmosphere is amazing, the sun is constantly shining and the people are so friendly.
Our hostel has been unbelievably comfortable and well set up for a mere 12 euro a night. We have stayed here for 5 nights, and still feel like there is so much more to see! In an attempt to get the best price on a flight to Croatia, we cut our time here short. But we will definitely be coming back.

When Ed joined us on day 3, we somehow managed to convince ourselves to hike the Somaria Gorge on day 4. We started off very perky and enthusiastic, however our feet hated us by the end of the day, especially Ed with his $10 Target joggers :P. It however was beautiful and well worth the 16 km hike in scorching hot weather. It has been about 3 days since this hike and our legs still wobble everytime we come near any stairs.

Today, Friday the 12th we are flying back to Athens and from there to Croatia where we are hoping to spend the next three weeks of our trip.

More photos and plenty more videos will be uploaded shortly 🙂

Love the currently wobbling wierdos ❤
